Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using WordDrift ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may download and install the App on your personal devices and use it in accordance with its intended functionality.

3. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the App
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for competitive advantage
• Sell, rent, or transfer your account or license rights
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

4. User Accounts

You may sign in with Apple ID, Google, or Facebook, or play as a guest without an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are the exclusive property of WordDrift and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. In-App Purchases and Billing

• In-app purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
• Payments are processed securely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store; subscription management is handled by RevenueCat
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your device's subscription settings
• Virtual currency (coins) and in-game items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
• Virtual currency is non-transferable and will be lost if your account is deleted

7. Advertising

• The App displays ads through Google AdMob; Pro subscribers do not see ads
• On iOS, we request permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA)
• In the European Economic Area, we present a consent form before serving personalized ads
• If you decline tracking or withhold consent, only non-personalized ads are shown
• You can manage ad preferences at any time: on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android via Settings → Google → Ads

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordDrift shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Direct damages are limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WordDrift from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You agree to waive participation in class action lawsuits. Small claims court proceedings and intellectual property disputes are excluded from arbitration.
